In 2012, Momo moved to South Korea to train and in
2015 joined the then newly formed girl Kpop band
'Twice'. Along with the other 8 members of Twice,
Momo has enjoyed huge success both in Japan
and Korea as well as internationally.

In 2023, Momo along with the 2 other Japanese
members of Twice ( Sana and Mina) formed a
sub-group - 'MiSaMo'.
