Yoona was accepted into the training programme for
'Girl's Generation' in 2002 and made her official
debut 5 years later. Girl's Generation became a huge
success, leading the way for other Kpop bands. They
are still together, however the members, including
Yoona, have developed individual careers in addition
to their group activities.
